About Us

Caira Moreira Projects (CMP) is a nomadic hybrid curatorial platform dedicated to amplifying the voices of the Caribbean diaspora and BIPOC artists. CMP foregrounds practices that resist reductive, binary framings of Black art, instead illuminating the nuanced complexities of diasporic existence and the rich distinctions among its cultures. Through this lens, the gallery cultivates deeper understandings of identity, heritage, and cultural hybridity within contemporary art.

Without a fixed physical location, CMP leverages flexibility to create pop-up exhibitions, online platforms, and bespoke advisory services, minimizing overhead while maximizing global reach and cultural impact.

Operating at the intersection of curatorial practice and market strategy, CMP emphasizes cultural hybridity, diaspora, and identity. By producing accessible and innovative exhibitions, the gallery engages diverse audiences, fosters critical dialogue, and supports artists in gaining visibility across local and international markets.

CMP’s vision is to redefine how galleries connect with communities by creating a sustainable, flexible, and inclusive platform for artists of the diaspora. Its mission is to showcase emerging and mid-career artists through curated projects, foster cross-cultural dialogue, and offer collectors tailored art advisory services. Whether you are an artist, collector, or art enthusiast, CMP provides a space to explore, engage, and connect, offering opportunities to experience thought-provoking exhibitions and participate in a global creative community.
